We fly from Anchorage to Fairbanks, and while this is a primarily a dog
mushing tour, Fairbanks is world renowned for its spectacular
northern
lights or Aurora Borealis. Where better to view this magnificent light show than
from a hot tub at your hotel!
The next five days are spent on the trail with the huskies, mushing the
unspoiled lands of interior Alaska. Many people only dream of an adventure like
this – you’re living it!
Itinerary
DAY 1: Arrive in Fairbanks. Transfer to hotel.
DAY 2: Attend one-day dog mushing school. Relax and enjoy
the Northern Lights from your hot tub in the evening.
DAYS 3 - 7: Hit the trail for dog mushing in the Alaska Range.
The proper outfit and boots will be provided. Bring your own warm thermal
underwear and fleece shirts.
DAY 8: Return to Fairbanks. Relax and enjoy the Northern Lights from your hot tub or the nearby Chena Hot Springs in the evening. Overnight.
DAY 9: Flight back home.
