Fly over Columbus Glacier before continuing on to a luxurious lodge right on
Prince William Sound. Fly to Katmai via Kodiak Island, enjoy guided bear
viewing, photographic excursions, hiking, or kayaking during your 3-day stay at
a truly 5-star wilderness lodge. Head out on daily boat trips along the coast
and then hike to see these magnificent creatures feasting on clams and crabs as
appetizers before gorging on the main course - salmon!
Fly to the Talkeetna mountain. From this lodge you see the Mt. Mc Kinley at its best. What a view. This area is designed for hiking, walking, to watch the wildlife while sitting at your deck. Enjoy the wilderness, the nature.

Itinerary
DAY 1: Arrive in Anchorage and transfer to hotel.
DAYS 2 - 4: Head south along Turnagain Arm to Alyeska. Watch for Dall
sheep and whales. Board the helicopter which will take you to the lodge. Fly
over Prince William Sound and land right in front of the lodge. 3 nights at the
lodge.
Daily excursion by boat to remote bays and the Columbia Glacier - weather
permitting. Optional: Halibut fishing.
DAY 5: Floatplane back to Anchorage. Overnight.
DAY 6: We will drive north through the Matanuska Valley, Alaska’s
Farmland to Talkeetna. By floatplane to the lodge which is in the middle of the
Talkeetna mountain. Great area for hiking. Denali – The Big One – can be seen in
full from the lodge. What a spectacular view. 3 nights at the lodge. Listen to
the wildlife!
DAY 9: Flight back to Talkeetna, then return to Anchorage. In the
afternoon flight to the Island Kodiak. Overnight.
DAY 10: By floatplane to the Katmai coast for bear viewing and 3 nights
at the lodge. In the middle of the bear country. Daily tours to view the bears.
Also eagle, Arctic fox and seals can be seen there. An unforgettable adventure!
DAY 13: Return from the coast of Katmai by floatplane to Kodiak and
continue to Anchorage by Jet. 2 nights in Anchorage.
DAY 14: Day on your own in Anchorage. Optional: Various day tours.
DAY 15: Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
